It sounds like The Edge has dropped its "Independent Radio" slogan, in favor of "The Valley's Alternative Rock." In the process, daily features and specialty shows, including "Ska-Punk" (which should be a weekly show in the first place), "The All-Request Lunch Hour," the Top 10 at 10, and "Local Frequency" have been dropped (or at least not aired the past couple of days).I wonder what's behind these changes? With the new slogan and such, it sounds like Riviera is going to keep the alt-rock format on 103.9, but with the Power rumors floating around, anything is possible.
