Seattle Radio is undergoing its biggest change in years and I am thrilled to be back in town to watch it. The days of KMPS, KIRO, KUBE, KBSG, BobRivers, Ichabod, Kent and Alan are about to disappear. The END, KBKS and KLSY are already gone or close to it. Enter a new wave of radio: BJ Shea will own men, Fitz and the WOLF own country (just look at March numbers) MOVIN will put the nail in the grave of KBKS and KPLZ while grabbing KUBE's upper end. KOMO has already destroyed KIRO, can you believe KIRO's afternoon show? Aren't those the guys that bombed in Seattle just a couple of years ago. The new players are KISW, JACK, MOVIN, KOMO on the AM dial and WOLF. The big morning shows will be BJ Shea, FITZ, KOMO for the old folk and T-Man for the kids. Satellite radio is already dead, hell even Stern is doing a deal with Citadel to get back on the real airwaves. Change is a comin and I love it.
