Channel Gon Crunk?

Guys we know that Channel is this way one month, and another way the next. Yes, it is a flanker for other stations in the Clear Channel cluster. But, damn it is a fun station to listen to. Other than a pretty boring Morning show, and Midday show, the rest is awesome. They play all the chart toppers, but they mix in a few crazy songs as well. At least they are trying to be different in a world of the same old corporate B.S. I looked at there spins on there top 25 songs and they are all chart bangers, so lets not say that they are just picking and choosing. Also, they just got a signal upgrade. Doesn't make much sense to get rid of something that you are putting money into. Don't jump to conclusions guys!!!

I agree. However, I really want 94-5 to be the ONLY channel I listen to in Dayton but that may not happen because 102-9 is sounding a lot better now. More rhythmic.
 
Channel should go full blown rhythmic. That's the only way that it will succeed at anything completely. It's all corporate B.S. A bunch of old radio guys that think this way is the right way. It suck that they hold down what could be a great thing.

This is an intersting point, personally i would not expect cc to sell off the 94.5 frequency but to sell 103.9 and move the "x" to 94.5 on the improved signal. That is purely speculation but it would make sense from a business perspective. An important point that people seem to forget is that radio is a business. If the powers at be felt 'channel' would be more profitable as a chr/rythmic, then that's what it would be. (my apologies if i am beating the proverbial dead horse)

Its relevant because he is posting rumors about himself and talking about his own station in a negative light. I'm sure his brand manager would love to be informed of his self proclaimed promotion to PD and his true feelings about the direction of WDKF.
 
It is Clear Channel. The MD doesn't necessarily have to agree with the music he's programming. He just has to fill orders.
 
Darn man, you must hate drake for something. Sounds to me like this guy TED works there, not I!
 
All I know is what the people of Clear Channel told me and that was that Drake was the PD. Didn't mean to make you mad Ted, or should I say disquised Channel staff member!
 
Ted? Where are you getting this Ted from? Dude, I am 14 years old. I go to high school in Dayton, Ohio. I am just a big fan of 945 and my grandpa's been in radio for a longgggg time. That's how I know so much about it.
