A lot of the local stations are leaning more current with a CHR sound.
Of course you have WAKS of Cleveland and WDJQ of Canton since they have been programming the format for years, but now you have WKDD of Akron and WQAL of Cleveland - along with even WDOK of Cleveland to an extent.
Plus in Akron - you have in the market the following: WZIP, WDJQ, WAKS, WKDD, WHOT and WQAL all coming to at least parts of the area.
There seems to be an increasing overload of CHR in local radio. Do you guys think it is becoming too much or it is not a problem?
I just don't want see too much of a current hits-oriented wave on the station.
