If by "XM" you mean Satellite Radio, I have been paying for the service for 3 months now.
If by "XM" you mean "XM" no, I purchased a Sirius subscription, and I am very happy.

I confess I have not heard Terry on XM, so perhaps he lost his touch? But if your are referring to the way he has always sounded, then I beg to differ with you.

If by plain English, I meant XM Radio. I still do. The new company is XM Sirius. They have not combined broadcast services. Don't let the facts get in the way of your confusing post.

I don't care what he sounded in silly Philly in the 80s; I referred to his Sonic Salute portion on XM channel 6.

hamNcheese is correct; this is a thread hijack. Not Jack FM, Garrett, a topic hijack.

Oh, here we go again ::)

so there is NO confusion, they were extremely happy with the results. in fact, i was told, together, WE "increased traffic by 44%,"

You could go from 50 listeners to 72 listeners and have a 44% increase :)

Cantore was very upset with a story that indicated what we would expect of an online startup: it had darn few listeners. http://www.sandiegoreader.com/news/2008/aug/20/blurt3/ - he argues with the premise of the story, but the reality of the business is that the numbers just aren't there.

You just cannot do internet streaming with radio with live personalities and those huge music royalty payments and expect to make money, especially with the very, very small audience sizes of streaming radio.

Oh, and for the record, I like Motormouth on XM.

bummer that cantore isnt doing the x1fm thing. was enjoying the show. is it possible they could throw it on a stick? the programming is pretty cool. I really like it. what about a JSA?

I think if they got X1FM on the fm dial with cantore as the cornerstone that would shake up the alt radio scene in SD.
