Chris Fedor out at WKNR

What is his background????? Did he do the journalism/communications thing in college or is he one of these Ohio school of broadcasting guys. Reason I ask is because many other stations across the country are investing big time on their websites. Grossi with wknr and their website is one example. Not saying that is something for fedor, who I think is a one trick pony and laugh at his draft expert label, but I think both station knead more for their websites.

Wait, but doesnt Karmizin tell us every year that the "surveys" tell him that the listeners want more Fedor and more Hammer? I thought their findings are that these two guys test thru the roof and people love them. I mean, thats what they tell us every year when they tally up the results of their sham "survey".

I listened to the survey show-the both did bad in the surveys, Karmizin just spinned it as more positive than what it was.

Chris was not my taste, but I think he was trained in his shtick, and that will only take you so far until you have to change.

What really bothered me was the viciousness over twitter. The guy lost a job. Sure, he's media, but he's not a huge figure. He's a young guy who was making probably next to nothing and now has to come to grips, for possibly the first time in his adult life, that he lacks an income.

People are entitled to their opinions, but some of that was just low.

I feel bad for anyone out of a job-there were 6 people let go where I work last Wednesday, and I pray it will not happen to me anytime soon-Fedor came across the radio as very arrogant-he finished ahead of Hammer on the surveys of most hated host-he should have taken that to heart, and not talk down to your fan base (listeners). Twitter can be brutal, no doubt.
