In the immortal, and goofy words of Earl Pitts......"Ya know what makes me sick? Ya know what makes me so mad....". Why do some people on this board use the term "ads"? Hello! This is radio for God's sake. The word we use is "spots" not ads. I first went on the air in 1969 and have worked at, Hell, I dunno, 21 or 22 stations. Not once did we ever, ever use the term 'ads' when referring to commercial matter. They were always spots. Or am I missing something here? Have the consultants suddenly decided that a change was in order when it comes to terminology??

My mistake, I meant inventory ;)

Fair point, Al....
