OK guys, let's not turn this into a Cubs vs. Sox thing. (I might as well say I'm a Cubs fan, BTW.)
I haven't heard Chris Singleton. I don't know how he'll do. But Ed Farmer on play-by-play ... oy. Worst-case scenario is that the Sox radio broadcasts become as amateurish and homerish as the TV broadcasts. My guess for best-case is the radio broadcasts are average, but no better than Pat and Ron.
My take on Santo - it's good to hear him at the start of the season, kind of like seeing a long-lost uncle for the first time since fall. A month or two into the season, well, ya know.
