CHRISTIAN MUSIC ON 95.7????

Interesting move....95.9 WVOS is now on 95.7 in Poughkeepsie

Though not true oldies.... but close enough with Classic hits ::)
That is an interesting move. Scott Flybush in yesterday’s Northeast Radio Report said that He heard the Sound of Life was only temporary. Repeater owners must get permission from the main station to carry their signal so how is it 95.7 keeps changing weekly? I now understand why he dropped TOC. He must have been notified a primary station WEOK/WALL was taking over the Channel. I will have to give it a listen. WCBS-FM would have been a better choice. Classic Hits sounds like WBPM Love them or hate them a translator can’t really take on a full power station.

ROGER- don't even think about 92.9 on a repeater....its bad enough on one frequency....oh, the humanity.....perish the thought

oldies4ever ;D

Who's he? ;D
Sorry about the typo Scott . I guess I should have reread what I wrote. Another thing I was unclear on the he I refered to as the translator owner is DIGITAL RADIO BROADCASTING, INC.,BUD WILLIAMSON

I listened to WVOS on 95.7 while out this afternoon .They call themselves ‘The Greatest Hits of All Time’ like WCBS-FM. They are defiantly lighter and more like Classic Hits should be than WBPM, playing the older stuff; although WBPM is still a good station, just more rock orientated. Thankfully the Christian Music is off 95.7 &94.1 so we can put that topic to rest. Now we actually have a choice TOC on WEOK and WVOS on 95.7.WVOS has the small town talent sound to it (not meant to be critical) but unless my ears deceive me it was live !
