Halloween decorations would go up in stores no earlier than October 1.
Thanksgiving decorations would not go up in stores until November 1.
Christmas decorations would not go up in stores until the day after Thanksgiving. Although I could be okay with some of that the week of Thanksgiving if stores didn't want to have to be full staffed on Thanksgiving to get ready. Oh, and no one would ever call the day after Thanksgiving ''black Friday'' ever again.
Radio stations would not play any Christmas music until the day after Thanksgiving. Even then, I would hope they would not go wall-to-wall with it until a week before Christmas.

Me, too. Hate it when you start hearing and seeing Christmas stuff before Halloween gets here. The Gaylord Texan in Grapevine all ready has some Christmas garland up on Hwy 26.![]()
