Seems to me there aren't many Christmas shows left on TV. Maybe I missed it but I didn't see "A Christmas Carol" on anymore. WGN-TV used to show "Scrooge" at 10pm on Xmas Eve but now they've replaced that with their annual showing of a retrospective of childrens' shows they USED to air.
We don't see many holiday movies either, but I guess that is cause of DVDs. Still I would expect stations to air Christmas episodes. WWME-CA (ME-TV) in Chicago did this today but I noticed a lot of the shows still don't have Christmas themes.
Of course the Yule Log is long since passed.
What about in your area? Have the Christmas Shows been declining in number. I remember it's a far cry from the days of 1989 when "It's A Wonderful Life" was on every hour but I do recall the shopping channels showing wonderful public domain Christmas movies instead of just more shopping.
