CHUCK BRINKMAN OUT AT KAAM?

Dave is right. We did traffic with him. Cary is in his 50's easily. He has been on KAAM before and on "Memories". He does impressions, and a very bad "John Wayne";) His hero.Cary knows his "standards music" and Jack apparently is slowly but surely putting KAAM back where it was ,playing Standards, and eliminating most post early 70's with a few exceptions.

Is there an official answer about Chuck Brinkman yet? Their website has him listed on Saturdays from 12:00pm-6:00pm. I was under the impression KAAM has Talk and Public Service Shows on most of the weekend?

I can not listen on Saturdays to see for myself!

Thanks,
Stuart Greenberg
Chapel Hill, NC ???

and of course a quick hello to Mr. Bass! ;)

Chuck was filling in for "Crusin Al" on the sock hop saturday night. He will be doing some weekends and fillin's at KAAM.

? And somewhere that'd pay him properly?

What is properly?

Are you saying that since he made a butt-load of money at KLUV, he should continue to receive that same amount other places?

Nope Little one . He should be "paid properly" translated : For bringing a well known name to the station that is an institution of sorts for oldies music in DFW, Not 7 bucks an hour.
Attn: Theshadow,,another radio 101 student is over here.

My only problem is that I've heard that phrase 'paid properly' before. And I'm not sure I understand what people mean by it sometimes.
