If Mr. Romero's filing against the K223DH translator is true and the translator was running with many illegal parameters, maybe K223DH either shut down or got scared? LOL
Old friends can be quite adept enemies for many reasons. Mr. Romero and his Ex wife can reveal a shared sense of history, morality and ethics about the good "Pastor" Hector Guevara.
It was "temporary" only in the sense that the owner American Tower dispatched someone to drive up from Corpus to disconnect and remove the equipment. Pastor Guevaraa is banned from AT properties.
Nothing stopping him from leasing space somewhere else, submitting a modification, and causing casual disruptions to K223CW disguised as "testing".
If I know petty family feuds, this is probably where my money is at.
When the Pastor applied for construction permits, he owned both 92.5 translators. So nobody filed objections. If he files for a modification now, it will result in informal objections and petitions to deny. Won't get granted quickly, if at all. The lawyers will make thousands with all the filings and replies ..
Didn't you once tell us that it was fine to translate any station you wanted as long as you made the proper application with the FCC?
Sounds like a very expesive family feud.

It does have an app to move to a new cell tower near the current one. But apparently American Towers is letting them broadcast on their tower until K213FJ is able to move. I'm almost certain they don't have contracts at 90% of the sites. Each tower site is roughly 2k per month. How can "Centro" and the "Good Pastor" Hector Guevara afford paying 25 tower sites (50k per month)??? I believe they are just squatter's at most of the American Tower sites.

Some pretty hefty allegations you can't prove. I hope the good pastor and church see this and come after you for slander.
I'd also wager not every site is $2000 a months. Lots of stuff worked out in tower deals you may not know ab out.
I am not a fan of Centro or the pastor, but you seem like a knowitall with an axe to grind.
How does it work to be a ‘squatter’? Someone breaks into the property, illegally installs a transmitter and antenna on the tower and the owner isn’t aware?

Guevara and Roberto Guevara.
Here's a few facts for you to confirm.
1.) Hector has many "CHURCHES/NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS" that act as fronts to hold radio station licenses and assets. All the churches lead to 8230 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77088
2.) evicted for non payment at I heart Radio,I heart radio Building and I heart radio HDs.
3.) astronomical debts with Nielsen
4.)FCC has dismissed applications from Hector and his colleagues more than I can count
5.) Continues to use towers in San Antonio, Austin and Houston without authorization or contracts *squatters*
6.) Continues to falsely applied on licenses without HD Contracts on all translators *HD Channel SQUATTERS*
7.) Call estrella media and ask them what happen at the KJOJ Tower site a few months back

Have you verified by measuring with calibrated professional equipment that K213FJ is over power? Have you verified and proven they are squatting at tower sites?
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.
I can confirm and verify MANY things but I will be blocked 🚫 from the site. Ask around. Make some calls. The internet is a fascinating place. Don't take my word for it.
They probably won't discuss it for "legal reasons," but it was mentioned awhile back in another thread. Last December, a tower mysteriously falling after somebody with no lease had their equipment disconnected and tossed outside. Quack quack quack. Problem is if it was intentional insurance won't pay so an ice storm caused it. End of story. Move on...
Hmmm... I don't even remember an ice storm around in late December... In the warm coastal town of Freeport? Hmmm.. how many seven million dollar towers fell from ice during last month's wintergedden?

IIRC the day the KJOJ tower came down was the same day southeast Texas had very severe thunderstorms roll through with gale force whipsaw winds. Where I live the winds were the strongest I had ever experienced at my house outside of a hurricane. I assume the same storm system brought down the 103.3 tower...I could imagine near-hurricane force winds, moving at different directions at different heights above the ground being able to shred apart a 1,000 foot tower.
Lets put away the conspiracy theories until we can gather some facts.
