It's called whoring yourself out, and it's interesting that a "Wildcat guy" defends it.

The biggest university in the state is on the biggest radio signal in the state. That seems to make logical sense.

Soooo, I guess that means WLW-AM, the biggest radio signal in the state of Ohio, needs to broadcast the games of Ohio State University, the biggest university in the state. WOWO-AM picks up IU, WSM-AM airs UofT, UofM goes to KMOX-AM, and etc.

Cincinnati, Nashville, and St. Louis are all pro-sports cities. The last time I checked, there were no professional major league franchises in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

I think it's funny, and a bit ironic, how U of L can't get the dominate station in it's home market to carry it's games. Instead they give priority to a school 90 miles away. The school in the market with the big station is relegated to the pea-shooter.

I suspect U of L could have gotten top clearance if they had been willing to pay more than UK did. That's why they call it "commercial broadcasting."

I hate to admit it as I am an IU fan but WildcatGuy is correct. Money talks and BS walks. We all know that old line. If you have enough money you can be on any station you want.
