I think they knew they blew it. They are doing something with the signal
and keeping the tubes warm until someone with money to burn comes
along to buy it.

I would still keep my eye on 96.9. I think Bob has a clock over his head.
BTW - looks as if Monday could be the doom day for the Cumulus/Citadel
deal. Anyone with a pulse is expendable if the deal closes.

So it looks like Wild and Kiss are gonna get some new ugly logos, alot of VT, and Billy Bush ;)
I hate the fact they turned KCHZ in Kansas City back to CHR it was doing fine as a rythnmic station. Well despite the ratings but I know Wild's sound is gonna change
 
It'll be interesting to see how this marriage will go. Somehow the I feel the bad might be getting even worse. Let's just hope there won't be any more massive fireings out of this merger.

Well,well. When Cumulus takes it all over its over. bye-bye Rick & Brad, bye-bye Jack and Ron ( are these guys still on ?, I've been out of the market for awhile ) WAYYYYY toooo much costly overhead for the Dickeys (and yes their name fits their personailty ) . They ( the Dickeys) have such a hardon to be the new Clear Channel its going to be entertaining to watch this train wreck. OHHH the BOB will not be renewed, Citadel played way too much for that lease. get ready Katt, Kiss, WLLD and Animal listeners to lots of crappy sindicated crap and VT from other markets. Oh I have seen Cumulus in action in a couple of other markets what a piece of work, seriously treat there people like crap. If I worked for Citadel right now I would be A- sucking up to CC or Renda for a job big time or B-work for cable TV or C- change your career.

I know things didn't seem to go to great in Dallas when they took over Susquehanna. Lots of good people were wholesaled out mainly because their salary was decent and CumeLess didn't want to pay for their talents. We're talking even support people, not just talent. Cit had it's issues, but I'm rather afraid for the folks that work there now than CumeLess has bought them out. Sad times that keep getting sadder...
