While I like and respect the guy, did Dave ever do any "time" (and I mean that in every sense) at the Zone?
Heck...I'd do overnights. I wouldn't have to be there AND I could spend glorious hour after hour listening to my dulcet tones......*sigh*
:-* :-* - that's me, air-kissing me.
HEY -- maybe we could play a Smithereens tune once or twice a week...Mayor of Simpleton thrice a week....hmmm...and then we could..................and Ted would do mornings by himself (because he's best that way)....and Mary McCann would....YEAH! I like it.
We're getting the gang back together!!!!.........are you with me?!?!.............Dock?.....?..?....(echo)...?....Leah?....???...........Bone?!?.....

...Mannion.........E. Smith...... :-[...Johnny D......for that matter, Johnny H??!?.......
Huh.
ANYBODY?!?
Well, Dead-Air is an extraordinary air talent. I guess he'll have to give up his live, in-studio announcing gig for
Voice to America.
For the record, a certain working PHX morning host had the classic alternative idea years ago. Charles, listen to him! He's right! AND - you should hire Mannion.
Just kidding about me doin' overnights. NOT leaving the real world anytime soon.

It would be so great if KZON went with a classic alt format and got some of the former Zone jocks for the lineup. This station I believe with some promotion would actually do very well. Hey the morning ritual is ready for am drive ;-) and I am sure Dead Air Dave could do PM drive
