I read that the KKBZ PD was let go a couple of days ago. I would guess for bad ratings since they are in or near last place. If only they had more passionate fans like you.

I noticed he wasn't on the air today, I believe he was also the PD to sister station KHIT 107.1 Classic Hits which only had a .8 rating in the spring, worse than KKBZs 1.2.
