Unfortunately, No, and that has been part of this frequency's problem since the beginning. They target Poughkeepsie but as a Saugerties station with the transmitter near Lake Katrine ,this makes them a rim shot to the most populated area of the market .They have the maximum FCC allowed power for a class A station , 6kw.Their signal is directional with somewhat of a southwest null to protect WRRV 92.7 Middletown .

I would assume Program Director Randy Turner would take a shift, probably the afternoon drive .So far I have liked what I have heard; apparently they will have a very wide play list. It might be a bit to wide for some. The music certainly has more of an edge to it than the old WBPM .But I like it and wish them good luck.

I realize that right now everything is computer controlled, but the music and liners are tight; the music doesn't stop and the momentum is good. Let's see how it goes when the spots and Jocks are factored in. As I said, this one has a chance to do well come spring book

WBPM is one of the very few signals that make it inside my house with decent reception... so from that aspect, I'm not complaining about the location of the transmitter ;D
I too mentioned about the weak signal in an earlier part of the discussion. I think they are missing out on a very large chunk of the market by not being able to make it in to Orange County clear enough. And actually it is not too much of an issue with the strength of the signal as there is from the interference from 92.7. I was coming home last night and could pick it up on the Palisades Pkwy near the Orange/Rockland border...it was a little choppy but with the mountains blocking 92.7 which drops off big time after coming down 6 from Central Valley it was tolerable. Someone mentioned about that they are on max power for their class type. Is there a way for them to push to be a different class that would allow increased power? As for protecting WRRV i believe that should not be so much an issue because with the tower in northern Ulster they would never really cause interference in any part of Orange...plus RRV is also on 96.9 if there were any interference in eastern Orange say, people could tune in to 96.9 which in my opinion seems to have a stronger and clearer signal than 92.7
I can't wait to give it a listen.
