OK Rocknuts! I'm from here. Lived my whole life here. You don't know what you're talking about. WEBN did not play 80s stiffs. When I listen to Class X, I hear 80s metal band rejects. Lonts of great electric piano. Major tune out.
If you're playing those songs, they must be when I'm home and out of signal range. Don't hear those tunes enough. Maybe that's the problem.
You are NOT a thorn in anyone's side. Don't pat yourself on the back. really. They don't even know you're there.
City Beat is a joke. Anti-establishment for the sake of being anti-establishment.
I will no longer offer you guys any constructiive criticism. You just don't get it.
Keep rockin' dude.
Hmmm...and I have lived in Cincinnati since 1988...TRIED many times to get into Clear Channel. Even though I have a day job in Audio Visual and I have been a volunteer at ClassX for 2 years now. I think I hear a hint of jealousy in your comments Elephant. What's the term? There's Definately an Elephant in the room, and in this thread.
Nice to know that we have folks at Clear Channel who are jealous...oh; and by the way if you actually
LISTENED to the station; we play more than the so called "80s Metal Reject Bands" as you like to refer to them.... and even... dare I say?
Progressive Rock in a 2 hour show!! Yeah, you read that right....where else are you going to hear old school Prog Rock, instead of the same old rehash of "Another Brick in the Wall" by Floyd....you DO know that they recorded music LONG before The Wall was released right? Oh that's right, you work for Clear Channel; so the only Pink Floyd album you are aware of IS "The Wall"...
Maybe I should stop now before I get myself into a hole. Obviously Elephant is Definately Behind The Wall because they aren't hearing anything I am saying....
Just nod if you can hear me
:
Say what you want about a Non-Comm...we are real, and we aren't going away anytime soon.
As Ginny stated, maybe you would be better off sticking with your 3 tracks of Skynard, and Brick in the Wall by Floyd...but there is MORE to a Rock station then the same old songs played, rehashed, and packaged every stinking day.
