Certainly. In fact, I've heard little more than live remote broadcasts from Disney World, music from Disney artists (one week, Hilary Duff had 6 songs in the top 30), and Disney stories read around noon. All of the stations near me (550 WDDZ/Providence, 1260 WMKI/Boston, at night 1560 WQEW/New York) are O&O, and air commercial loads full of ads for Disney movies and The Disney Store. I'm interested what non-O&O stations get out of the entire deal, does Disney pay them to run it?
However, my point is that 94.7 could bring in far more dollars for Disney being sold to someone else than were Disney to retain and utilize the frequency to help build corporate branding and therefore increase sales of Disney products, ticket sales at Disney movies, and sales of Walt Disney Records/Hollywood Records artists in the Chicagoland area.
Plus, if Disney was going to put Radio Disney on 94.7, wouldn't they have done it already?
