recnet.com is more creditable then radio locator.

i felt as if im wasting my time here trying to have an intelligent conversation but having to press the "report to moderator" on more then one occasion.

it makes me glad i didn't get involved in radio. either the price of gas or the extreme heat seems to be making people turn into really arrogant assholes

rob, my comments are more out of just having a little fun. And CCENG just posted on another board how he LOVES
having you post (okay, I am paraphrasing) and that this board needs to get a life going like it used to. So, don't
get upset or take it all to seriously. I enjoy this and am glad you actually care. Charlie would be the first to buy you
a beer at Hooters.

Truth is, this 50kw vs. 100kw power isssue is simple. The higher the antenna height the less power you use to get
the signal out. So sometimes 50kw at XXXm's is like a 100kw signal at slightly less XXXm's.

I still loved the strobe light comments best. Don't go changin'.

Rob, there is a difference between "intelligent conversations" and "talking out of your ass" (IE: Pretending to know what you're talking about)...if you want to have a decent conversation, at least do some better research before posting...some of the stuff you post makes you sound like a total idiot--and I'm sure you're not.

Crappy Mobile stations (and they're a-plenty) get more per spot than average FWB stations (and they're a-plenty).

It makes perfect sense for CC, since all they have are idiots in PC, no one in FWB and actual people with brains in Mobile. Broadcast to people who can advertise and pay.

i don't know... for being the "idiots" you say they are, they seem to make a pretty good chunk of change and lock out their competitors revenue-wise...

There's no secret that the idiot quotient increases as market size decreases... though that's more programming/sales since I can't do more engineering than tweak a DA... I'm hearing that CC's divesting themselves of PC rather rapidly.

Plus, it's not like CC doesn't have a better formula for keepin idiots on track than OO or anyone else over there. It's also not like I haven't come across my share of idiots in my own building.

...and at pamal....and CC P'cola....and in Albuquerque....Hell, half of you consider me an idiot.
