I'm getting kinda angry reading some of these posts.
Yes, some of this happened because PPM wasn't very kind to the AM stations.
But that's not all. Clear Channel recently sold off a TON of it's smaller stations, because they "didn't generate enough profit."
And... the station wanted to make sure they were running where they could generate the most profit. ...Stocks, schmocks. Those won't matter very much soon.
I want to clarify that everyone "let go" had important jobs. The person above me says they didn't do anything for the stations... and that's bull, because everyone else now has to try to take on the work they did... as if they weren't worked like a sweat shop before.
And you guys didn't get all the names of people fired...
