I don't think it's TOO far-fetched to see an eventual relaunch of "Hometown Radio - The New Q102". The station had a great run, and a really memorable in-your-face attitude in 1989-93ish, that females aged 28-40 would remember.
There was something on All Access the other day about some consultant-type people (I forget the name) who've come up with a new Rhythmic AC format for women 28-40 who have outgrown the current rap/hip-hop-leaning CHR thing, aren't into the rock lean of most hot AC's and variety hit Jack/Ben/etc. stations, and aren't ready for AC yet.
All they'd have to do is run a really big "switch to the new frequency for today's hit music" promotion/stunt on 102.1.
Would be kind of neat to hear the likes of Coro, Noel, Lisa Lisa, and Samantha Fox on the 102.1 frequency again on a regular basis

(Not that I'm in the area all that much, but still...)<P ID="signature">______________
