Cleveland TV Revolving Door

Both Tracy McCool and Lou Maglio have been at channel 8 forever ‐‐ plus Lou also had a good run at channel 5.

I wonder if they are slowly being shown the door? But then again, Wayne Dawson has been there longer then either of them and he's back on the morning show.
Looks like Tracy might be working on New Day?
We are off

Natalie Herbick , Tracy McCool and some of the Fox 8 crew are headed to Punta Cana for a New Day , New You show.

Did WJW get a new announcer? I noticed a new announcer doing some of the promos within the last couple of days, one who actually sounds much more pleasant compared to other one.

Well, technically there is a channel 13 in Cleveland, but they have no local presence and their signal is so abysmal that only a few viewers can receive it on their outdoor antennas.

I'm guessing that this channel 13 that's referred to in that article is some sort of community cable operated station that's using fake call letters. I'm surprised that they can get away with billing themselves as an OTA broadcast station that doesn't exist. Punching in WCTU in rabbitears.info brings up a low power station in Pensacola, Florida.

Uncle Perry and his minions from Nexstar have yet to slash the staffs of 3 and 8 in preparation of the merger with Tegna. Unfortunately it's coming, so there will be many meteorologists in Cleveland that will be looking for work soon.

Anchors too. Some think we are headed towards a one anchor newscast industry.
