LOL, glad I'm not the only one who can't stomach Ch. 8's weather! It's awful.
Most newscasts spend more time rehashing what they told, or are going to tell us.
But Channel 8 is pretty bad at it compared to the other three. I don't like the fact that one segment, equals one new story (and weather tidbit), before going back to a tease, commercials and "lather, rinse, repeating" the process. Today's "Full hour of News" still gives us less than the half-hours of yore. Which weren't spread out over blocks worth, amounting to several hours in a row.

Laura Caso has announced on her social media pages she is leaving WKYC for Boston.
Not surprising I suppose since she was replaced as Russ Mitchell's co-anchor a while back. I assume she will be at the same station as Jason Mikell.

Saw that coming from a mile away when Christie came. I also think Laura isn't with her husband anymore.
Parish is an Akron native, so it's basically a homecoming for him.
Methinks by this point, we might as well consider him out of the weather game.

This kinda reminds me of how the forecasters in town were doing the weather from home during the covid lockdown period.
