Comcast To Buy CC???

I'd like to see Comcast bring back NBC Monitor weekend radio service. They should broadcast it from 8 a.m. Saturday morning until 2 a.m. Monday morning New York Time. Not only news as it happens, but live sports coverage and celebrity interviews, plus live music remotes and comedy recordings. Any comments on this?

"If that's what you want, listen to All Things Considered. That exactly what they do seven days a week."

Never thought we'd see the day when the true radio successor to NBC would turn out to be NPR. But it works. I guess only Hugh Downs is needed to make it complete....

I recall listening to Monitor on the way to church on Sunday mornings. My dad was a big fan. Weren't Bob & Ray a regular fixture?
