Coming This Fall on Local TV?

I would have never thought that fox 8 would pick up Wendy Williams.
They should put Queen Latifah on at 11 Wendy at 1 and Steve at 2 with Judy at 3

I think from the most logical standpoint fox 8 will only add Wendy Williams and TMZ live. WKYC will get Bethenny, channel 5 Latifah, channel 43 the test and paternity court, and 55 just sitcoms.

It was already anounced that 8 would get both Queen Latifah and Arsenio Hall's reboots, along with Wendy Williams.

Channel 3's daytime lineup (Rachael Ray/Doctors/Ellen/Dr. Phil) is stable and solid as a rock, doing well in the ratings...why gunk with it?

WEWS has a good thing going with Katie and Dr. Oz...again, I don't see any major changes there.

I do see 43 getting "The Test"...it would be right up their alley to go with Wilkos/Springer/Maury. WUAB is also the likely destination for Bethenny, as they usually get a couple of new talkers every year.

I wonder if FOX 8 will pull the plug on Ricki Lake or Jeff Probst early and bring some sitcoms or Access Hollywood or TMZ to daytime for the remainder of the season, as they already are repeating Lake at 2:30am Monday thru Friday. Also does anyone know when FOX 8 will premiere its new 4pm news?

The 4 p.m. news will debut on July 8.

Odds are, Judge Judy will then move to 3 p.m. and Ricki Lake will finish out the string at 2:30 a.m. for the rest of the Summer.

Here's a crazy thought: Could FOX 8 move the Noon newscast to 11am or make New Day Cleveland a two-hour show with local news segments mixed in (a la WKYC's Live on Lakeside)? Then it could have a three-hour talk block with Queen Latifah at Noon, Steve Harvey at 1PM and Wendy Williams at 2PM with Judge Judy at 3PM. That to me would make more sense.

Now we have to see what WBNX is going to replace Wendy with. They could even be the ones picking up Bethanny or The Test.

I think that that is not a bad idea, however I do not think that FOX 8 will do that. WBNX should just put sitcoms on at 4 because they have a bunch and they are all over the place. Everybody Loves Raymond is now on at midnight when they should do an hour of friends/Raymond at 10.

I would love to see sitcoms in that slot on 55. They need to also pick up better shows as their current lineup is a little bit weak. I would personally also like to see Law and Order: Criminal Intent gone from the lineup. It would be played better on cable instead of on local television. It also seems out of place on the daytime too.

Perhaps 55 can add shows that pushed to late nights on 43 and give them earlier hours. That can benefit them a lot. I have a feeling 'BNX will add another syndicated show to serve as a lead out to the Bill Cunningham Show.

The Law and Order on 55 is one of their highest daytime slots.

Anybody notice the Ohio Lottery is returning to WEWS Newschannel 5 in July?

You mean highest-rated? In that case, keep L&O on 55.

Where did you hear about the Ohio Lottery and why would it return to WEWS after two years at WKYC?

I have not heard anything about the Ohio Lottery moving back to WEWS I tried to look it up online and could not find anything about it.

Bethenny will be on WKYC channel 3 this fall it is on the website for her show. If you go to the bottom and click "exciting! find out where to watch Bethenny" go to Ohio and it has WKYC for Cleveland.

Well what do you know?

Kinda surprising actually, as 3's daytime lineup (Rachael Ray/The Doctors/Ellen/Dr. Phil) has been stable and solid for the past few years.

So does that mean one of the established shows get jettisoned to another station?

Or maybe shuffled down to latenights?

Or maybe moved to noon, lopping 1/2 an hour off of "Live on Lakeside"?

Certainly throws a curveball in the works.

I think that they picked up the show because of its relation to Ellen. If they drop anything I think that it will be either Rachael or the Drs. Or they very well could take the noon half hour off of Live Lakeside or pull the hour Live at Lakeside off at 11.

Remember Judge Joe brown has been canceled due to Judge Joe wanting more $$$ and CBS not wanting to pay so you have 1 hour there, plus Ricki lake, pus Jeff prbost. Wendy, Queen Latifh, and news during the daytime. Arsino hall at 11 PM and push late night back. I think the new adventures of old Christine leaves this fall so if that is the case yiu have another 30 mins.
