Coming This Fall on Local TV?

Looks like WBNX is the station loading up on sitcoms this fall:
http://www.wbnx.com/schedule/fall2013

WJW will (other than Big Bang Theory reruns, still enormously popular) be out of the sitcom business, with tons of local news, Fox network programming and late night Arsenio.

My bet is the WUAB amps up the sitcoms on its schedule this fall...the likely home for Modern Family, vs. WJW. Or, while we are at it...the Cleveland Show.

Too bad, Cleveland, unlike markets like Detroit, New York or Chicago, doesn't have a true independent (and no, I don't count WAOH or WMFD as a full market indy). Then, you would have space for more of these shows

Does this mean that FOX 8 will not be airing The New Adventures of Old Christine and Seinfeld this fall. They already lost King of the Hill.

Old Christine won't be syndicated anymore as of September. Seinfeld will likely get tucked away in the late night hours.

Maybe Christine is leaving syndication. As for Seinfeld, WJW should let it go to other stations since there's no room before midnight for the show. I think WUAB should pick it up again.

This is how the FOX 8 late night programing should go weeknights this fall
11pm The Big Bang Theory
11:30pm The Arsenio Hall Show
12:30am Seinfeld
1am TMZ
1:30 Access Hollywood
2am FOX 8 News at 10
3am Seinfeld
3:30am Paid
and they should then start the morning news at 4am.

That is strange why they do not have the news start at 4 AM as one extra half hour would make no real difference.

I know that Bethanny and The Arsenio Hall Show both premiere on September 9th, while The Middle and Latifah enter syndication on the 16th, with Paternity Court on the 23rd. Does anybody know the dates for Community, Modern Family, Glee, The Test, White Collar, TMZ Live and The Cleveland Show.

Speaking of WJW, with the station now doing news at 4PM, could they eventually add an 11PM news to compete with WKYC, WEWS and WOIO. That would really put 8 at the top of the news ratings. Makes sense with Arsenio airing at 11:30pm in the fall. It could happen. We'll see.

Big Bang Theory and Seinfeld could end up on other channels - maybe WUAB or WBNX.

I too would not be surprised it FOX 8 adds a half an hour of news at 11. Now that I think about it why would they want to start Arsenio at 11:30 for sitcom reruns?

Here is just a thought FOX 8 has only been airing one promo for new shows this fall, that has been for the Arsenio Hall show. Well here is my thought we know for sure that FOX 8 will add Wendy this fall what if they have not aired any promos for any other daytime talk shows because in addition to Wendy they are getting Rachael form channel 3.

I got to see a commercial for Wendy Williams on FOX 8 this morning during New Day Cleveland, and Wendy will air at 11am starting in September.

Now we have to see what will air at 1pm. Maybe Steve Harvey will still air at 2pm before Judge Judy, but anything is possible.

According to the affiliate listing on Bethenny's site her show will air in Cleveland this fall on channel 3 at 3. That is when The Drs airs. Could they move the doctors to 2 or is it moving to one of the other channels 3, 5, 8, or 19?

On the morning of August 2, 2013 I saw a promo for the Arsenio Hall show it said that it is coming September 9th at 11 to FOX 8. What happened to 11:30, could they have recently lost their rights to The Big Bang Theory or Seinfeld?

Doubt it.

"Big Bang" still airs at 7:30 p.m., and more than likely the late night airing will move to midnight (with "Seinfeld" probably at 12:30).

Big Bang is one of the highest rated shows on broadcast TV. It is good that FOX 8 will keep it this will help them keep a day of #1s with their news and Judge Judy.

Actually, I think Big Bang will still air 11pm in addition to 7:30pm. Arsenio will come on at 11:30pm, pushing Seinfeld and TMZ to a later slot.

Doubt it.

"Big Bang" still airs at 7:30 p.m., and more than likely the late night airing will move to midnight (with "Seinfeld" probably at 12:30).

I think it is surprising for them to suddenly change the time of Arsenio form 11:30 to 11pm. They were only airing the promos for the 11:30 time slot for May, June, and July. As of now I wonder if the Test is even coming to Cleveland this fall along with TMZ Live and Latifah. Has anybody seen any promos for the Test TMZ Live or Latifah at all on any of the Cleveland stations?

It doesn't appear that Latifah is coming to FOX 8 or any of the stations. Just checked on her list of stations and there no mention of Cleveland. If I were you, I'd just call the stations and ask about those shows. My guess is no one's locally confident Latifah will do well.

I doubt TMZ Live is heading to Cleveland either. Don't know about The Test, but I wouldn't be surprised if that show's not heading here either.

If Wendy Williams is gonna air at 11 a.m. in the fall on WJW, and assuming Steve Harvey (2 p.m.) and Judge Judy (3 p.m.) stay where they are, we may see "TMZ Live" in the 1 p.m. slot, replacing Jeff Probst's cancelled talk show.

If anybody gets "The Test", it'd be WUAB, as that show would fit right in with Maury Povich ("You ARE the father !").

I'm kinda hoping though that 43 would trim off some talk this year and air a few more sitcoms, especially in the early evening hours.

I actually saw a commercial for "The Test" on FOX 8 earlier today, though no time slot was mentioned. It just said "Premiering This Fall."

I have a feeling it will take the 1pm slot to replace Probst. Not sure about TMZ Live.

So my guess is this:

Wendy Williams 11am
News 12pm
The Test 1pm
Steve Harvey 2pm
Judge Judy 3pm

That could work. Plus, FOX 8 is going to be owned by Tribune soon, so that could mean more changes.

That makes as good of sense as anything...

...with late nights perhaps looking something like this (barring something out of left field)

11 p.m. - Arsenio Hall
12 a.m. - "Big Bang Theory"
12:30 a.m. - "Seinfeld"
1 a.m. - 10:00 news replay
2 a.m. - TMZ
2:30 a.m. - "Access Hollywood"
3 a.m. - infomercials
4 a.m. - "Seinfeld"
