Competition

Not that I owe this to you at all but I came from market 38 and had an opportunity to go to a top 20 this time last year.

My sisters health is failing and she lives in Little Rock.

My family comes before what a no talent retread on a message board thinks about my career moves.

Thanks and good luck with your future career as troll on internet message boards.

Ha.

You've been in market 48 for four years.

Which is more than the vast majority of broadcasters can say, wouldn't you agree?

Let us gather our facts as of today before we post inaccurate information....Makes it look like someone hasn't been keeping current...As of spring 2006, Arbitron list Memphis as market 50. Market 48 would be Oklahoma City according to Arbitron...Hey Twitch, you ever work in OKC?...But hey...IMHO ( which doesn't seem to be worth much these days....LOL...) there is no doubt in my mind that Twitch could not easily slide right into a bigger market with no trouble. It is a possibilty that he may not be in a position to make a move at this time as he stated in his post. I am batting for your team Twitch...You do alot with the little you are given to work with on Union Avenue.

Rick, I have a question

regarding the market ranking. If Arbitron lists us at #50, why is R&R still posting the ratings as if we were still #49? That's how I look up the 12+...

Wow.

You actually dignified that with a response.

What's more sad?: a guy killing time on a message board...or someone who feels as though they have to defend themselves against a guy killing time on a message board.

Lighten up, brah.

Too bad about the Seattle gig, btw...

(Rick, you trip me out...I say 48, you say 50. Just goes to show that Mtown is falling in market size, and revenue, and quality...pretty much everything.)

I say whats more sad than being sad is being on a message board defending yourself with a message board all while typing on a message board.

message board.

thanks for the kind words rick.

i miss bandit pissing on the trash can in the studio...

Messageboard trash: GOTTA LOVE IT! :-*

Twitch, I have to agree with Rick on this one. You do alot with the little you are given in that building. I hope it continues to go well for you, even if CBS finds a buyer for the trio. Keep up the good work.

so how is the station billing.. i hear lots of spots.. That would be more important to me than if the station has a 1 1/2 share or a 3 share.

never intentially doomed 92.9 to a change but have always wondered why no one ever programmed the station to the demo serviced most by its city grade signal the tower is in North Memphis

i do wish memphis could support 2 stations one more metal and hard and one for the gen x crown like me with more retro and classic alternative stuff
