Is that like Jay Leno, since Kevin Eubanks left, they got a new theme with the new band?
As a bearded man myself, I am glad that Conan grew a beard while he was out of the public eye. It would have been difficult for him to do that while being on TV every night. It seems like no one is allowed to grow a beard. Either you have one or you don't! No stubble! No in-between!KentBrockman said:NBC would have never let him host 'Tonight' with the beard he sports now.

I thought he was OK last night, but the guy from 30 Rock was NOT funny. The segment with Turner's Standards and Practices was funny with the sexual slang but the guy and his butt was a bit much. The outrageous Taiwanese News animation depicting Conan's show was top notch!![]()

From what I've heard, Max just grew tired of the grind and wanted to concentrate on other things. No hard feelings between him and Conan (or anyone else on the show) at all.radioguy555 said:Why is Max Weinberg not on this show? Wasn't he with Conan for all 17 years at NBC?
