Confirmed today (2 flips) in Columbus

Given NABCO already did a change at 103.9 WJKR I don't see them making any more changes.

Could SAGA/Columbus Radio Group do something at 103.5/104.3, 107.9 maybe?

I don't see iHeart making any changes but if they did, I can only think of them touching 105.3 or 105.7.

What would be exciting to me would be a AAA like WXRT, an Urban AC that actually has the transmitter located in Columbus, or a classic hip hop / R&B station with a playlist of more than 100 songs lol but I'm not going to hold my breath

I remember as a kid in 1993, I had 1580 WVKO AM playing on my parents' home stereo, and while it wasn't as good as FM, the sound was still decent. Between then and now, the sound quality seems to have gotten noticeably worse. I think there would need to be an FM translator for anything music-wise to succeed.

I did flip over to 920 every once in a while when it was adult standards. Right now 920 has a 0.1 in the ratings with a cume of 5,300 lmao so pretty much a flip to anything will increase the ratings

They cannot make money catering to the 85–dead demo like that.

Aside from turning in the license for WMNI and selling the tower land to a developer, there's nothing else that can make money besides running Fox Sports off the bird.
Are they making money running Fox Sports off the bird? I’ve had a theory they were in a pay to play situation to clear the net. But otherwise, other than whatever live sporting events they clear, a .1 share isn’t sellable no matter the format.
