I am fairly sure that iHeart/Premiere would have no issue ripping up their Fox Sports Radio contract with WMNI and ink one for 1460/97.1. Happens all the time.
I am pretty sure that they would do it in a heartbeat - they could get some of their content cleared on an FM plus being tied to the "Home of the Buckeyes" would be a win for them! (We all know WBNS's listenership goes up during College Football season).
No longer being on 1460 WBNS-AM would be a big loss for ESPN - it's quite possible that if Fox Sports wanted to get in with TEGNA, AM 920 could pick up ESPN instead (or go for Infinity Sports). AM 660 WXIC out of Waverly (a daytimer) carries Infinity sports these days and I have listened to some of it and it's OK. Def not top tier talent that ESPN and others have been known for.
