Well, we could drive over to KINGS-R-US and anoint someone to be our despot and then there would be no need for political campaigns, no need for lobbyists, and certainly no need for "Talk Radio, the Political Genre". History tells us that we had it that way once and it wasn't a happy scene so we had the Original Tea Party and all that Colonial Founding Fathers nonsense.

If you have any affection at all for this 200-year plus experiment in SELF-GOVERNMENT.... learn to tolerate at least some political flotsam in your life. My dream is that the ship-of-state might be able to float around in the flotsam without it turning into a boiling sea of acidic, corrosive flotsam. What fun is there in living your life floating around in a place where you can't go skinny-dipping from time to time. ;D
