It has been reported that Adam Corolla will be taking over Sterns spot in L.A. and a few other markets. I wonder if phoenix will be one of them. Do you think it will bomb? Would the zone be better off trying to aquire the ritual from edge or going music intensive in am drive??

Haven't heard anything, but I definitely say that any remaining Stern momentum will make Corolla a good pick. He's a Stern favorite, and he's 43 times funnier than the Edge guys - (I worked it out on one of them computers) and he's primed for the spot.

I for one would love to hear Adam Corolla on the Zone. I cant stand listining to them (The Zone) anymore and I think he would be a good addition and I would tune in to hear him. But what would that do for Love Line on 98KUPD?

Speaking of CHILL...The Geek Squad at Best Buy could probably fix the caps lock key on your Commodore 64.

Re: Zone

Anything could help the Zone at this point. And Adam Corolla Could fill the big shoes that Howard Stern is leaving behind in my opinion.

MANCOW !!

The CHICAGO SUN-TIMES' ROBERT FEDER is reporting that EMMIS and INFINITY are negotiating a deal that would shake up the CHICAGO morning scene, moving MANCOW MULLER from EMMIS Alternative WKQX (Q101) to INFINITY's Talk WCKG as HOWARD STERN's replacement.

MULLER would also air on "at least" six other INFINITY stations as STERN's replacement. At the same time (which FEDER says is targeted for SEPTEMBER 22, the beginning of the FALL ARBITRON book), EMMIS would bring JONATHAN BRANDMEIER back to the market for mornings at its Classic Rock WLUP. BRANDMEIER had his biggest success in mornings at THE LOOP before heading to LOS ANGELES, where he most recently handled mornings at KCBS-F (ARROW 93.1) before the station flipped to the "JACK-FM" format.
