Wow: I was just thinking about this show last week. I specifically remember an episode with Dick Clark (making his dramatic acting debut, I think) as a sleazy record-company exec. His biggest artist is killed in an accident and he makes a fortune releasing posthumous singles that all shoot to the top of the charts. And then the big reveal in the last act is that the singer isn't really dead -- Clark has been keeping him prisoner in the basement of his mansion, forcing him at gunpoint to record new songs! I often wonder if Elvis (or Jim Morrison) saw that episode...
