The Antilope Valley is in LA County and is, thus, part of the LA market... as absurd as it seems.
Most of the LA AMs do not make it out there, particularly at night. The FMs on the Basin floor do not, and the Wilson signals are a bit challenged as there is horizon blockage from the far side of the mountain range... some get in OK, others do not.
KIIS, the third lowest powered commercial Wilson signal has had a simulcast partner, KVVS, in the AV to supplement its poor signal in that area. This illustrates the fact that the LA FMs in general don't fully and adequately penetrate that area.
