COULD IT EVER HAPPEN?

I bet you could all receive the big Los Angeles Stations pretty well in the Antelope Valley even though that is a different market. Since most of the stations signals all come from Mount Wilson you probably could listen to the HD signal of most of those channels in the AV.

The Antilope Valley is in LA County and is, thus, part of the LA market... as absurd as it seems.

Most of the LA AMs do not make it out there, particularly at night. The FMs on the Basin floor do not, and the Wilson signals are a bit challenged as there is horizon blockage from the far side of the mountain range... some get in OK, others do not.

KIIS, the third lowest powered commercial Wilson signal has had a simulcast partner, KVVS, in the AV to supplement its poor signal in that area. This illustrates the fact that the LA FMs in general don't fully and adequately penetrate that area.

In regards to KROQ, do you think it could continue to thrive if let's say the station was moved to a Class A?

Again, why would anyone mess with the second highest billing single radio station in the US (and probably the world)?
