Couzin Ed

Local sources revealed earlier today that Couzin Ed has joined Philadelphia’s booming Dog Walking industry. Reportedly, a business card was posted on the bulletin board of a popular downtown coffee shop. It’s called “Couzin Ed’s Cute and Cuddlie Pet Care Company.” with the motto, “We’ll walk your dog, but we won’t pet it. That’s extra.” 8)

There’s nothing tastier than a hot dog, so the ever-shrewd Couzin Ed has capitalized on this long-standing American tradition by becoming a wildly successful Hot Dog Vendor with a business venture entitled, “Couzin Ed’s Doggie-Style Gourmet Wagons” featuring the slogan, “Our dogs are so good, you’ll sit up and beg for them, but they’re affordable, so you’ll have no trouble buying as many as you want.” ;)

I see that Couzin Ed has done very well post radio-although I'd like to hear he's back on the airwaves on YSP again (along with all his other operations he's involved in!)

A full-page color advertisement in a major medical journal this month shows that Couzin Ed is now owner and operator of a highly profitable Medical Supply company. “Couzin Ed’s Medical Supplies Aplenty!” with the motto, “I’m No Medicine Man, But If You Are, I Can Sell You Medical Supplies.” ;D

With the state of parking in the city near crisis levels, the always entrepreneurial Couzin Ed has seized the day by launching a Tow Truck business. Trucks can be seen cruising city streets with the logo “Couzin Ed’s Tippy Top Towing Team,” featuring the slogan, “Put as much money as you want in that meter, we’re just gonna tow you’re car anyway!”

I doubt it. Couzin Ed was never as funny as sammijar. But, on the plus side, nor was he ever one of the egotistical jocks, one that would come on here and praise himself, or believe his own myth. Maybe he is not on the air because he is holding out for way too much money to do mornings, leaving no money leftover for the rest of the station's jocks, marketing, promotions, etc. Maybe RWS is Couzin Ed? Or, maybe he truly is a hot dog vendor, or may soon one day be.

They’ve tried to ban smoking, but it’s only made it more popular. Knowing this, Couzin Ed has become a certified Tobacconist. Passers-by enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of “Couzin Ed’s Little Smoke Shoppe of Horrors,” and its motto, “The Quality of Our Products is So High, and the Prices are So Low, It’s Scaaaarry! Ooooooo!” ::)

It appears that sammajir will have to come up with a catchy quip about Couzin Ed's newest job. He's set to return to WYSP weekday afternoons. Run with Skizzors' prediction actually came true. I'm sure he's thrilled ;D

As stated, Couzin Ed currently bartends in Old City, where he also resides. He recently got married to his fiancee of a year and a half or two.
Eddie is a good guy he helped me out many times with tips how to get into the radio biz and now after 14 shows on Wnjc 1360 am i hope Eddie is comin back to Wysp I was sorry to hear when they let him go .

With a growing fear of government spying causing a backlash against E-Z Pass, Couzin Ed has capitalized on the resurgence of manually-operated Toll Booths. “Couzin Ed’s Bigger and Better Discount Toll Booths” offers the following enticement: “Escape the Government’s Watchful Eye and Enjoy a Friendly Greeting from a Heavily-Medicated Attendant.” :p

If he ever does return everywhere, the Couzin Ed Show will not be affected by the writer's strike. He has always prided himself on doing his show without any hired help. But, now I am realizing that sammijar has also been unaffected!

Maybe that is why Kidd is still not on yet. He does not want to cross the picket line in support of his writers.

Curious: for those jocks out there that actually write everything down before they talk and then just read (you know who they are...or you know who you are), are they technically crossing the picket line to do their shows?

If Ed's back on board, does anyone have an idea when they're going to roll out their lineup? They must be paying Chris to sit at home.

The plan was this week. There's a tight lip about stuff right now though, so things could be changing.
