The stupidity of the posts here continues to remind me why so many businesses go chapter 11 - even when its laid out in front of you - and speaks volume about those who post on radio-info - even those who claim to have Phds.

Right on, Randy! Sick 'em! ;-)

What a great idea! Blow up a station Top 5 Men 25-54 and replace it with a station that is #13 Men 25-54. I'm sure they will get right on that....

Hmmm. Had not seen the adult men breakouts. My bad. Afraid you're 100% correct. Can't see any scenario where an FM partner for DBO makes any sense. Unless they can buy one of those translators licensed for 250 watts at 1000 ft like Cumulus did in ATL to simulcast an HD channel from one of their FM's, creating a de-facto radio station that's just short of the equivalent of a class A fm.

Randy, I'd like to thank you for your subjective comment. Everything you have said certainly has been, and will contibue to be, taken under advisement and consideration.

Although there are some subjective comments found in this thread, some, including myself, are looking at this whole "what if" scenario from an objective overview rather than a subjective one. The key phrase is "what if" and nothing more. On the other hand, everyone, of course, is entitled to their own subjective opinion whether that opinion is based on verifiable facts or not. One does not need a PhD to have and state an opinion.

As for an actual business plan implementation, if I am involved, same as you, I charge a rather high fee for that information and in no way will ever post any portion of a real business plan on a thread such as this one. Hence, nothing I have posted should be contrued as an actual business plan, whole or in part. That would be "stupidity" on my part should I freely give away any business plan information, whether anyone used said plan content, whole or in part, or not.

Once again, Randy, thank you for your much appreciated comments.

Randy will always manage to disagree with someone even when you just happen to "agree" with him!
He's the king of agreeing to disagree!

Hey Mark, I need a business plan to drop about 20 more LPFM's all over Florida. How does that happen? Seriously, these low powered homers are a real nuisance, what gives?

You will need to wait till the next LPFM filing window opens before you may file for "20-more LPFM", or any number of stations. I believe the most pressing issue with the FCC now is clearing up the existing FM translator applications. Once the translator application issue has been resolved, my unerstanding is LPFM will be the next item on the agenda. At the moment it's "wait and see".
