Forgive me if this was already covered. But am I reading the PPMs right? Is the new Cumulus CHR literally getting no numbers?
To be fair, hasn't it only been on 3 months? IIRC the flip was labor-dayish, wasn't it? So aren't we talking Sep-Oct-Nov and the first 2 weeks of December in those ratings?radioaircheck said:Boy!! that station is burnning up the air waves isn't it?

So yes, while KISS is #2 with a 6.0 and 1.6 million cume, and KLIF_FM only has a .9, they've also already reached almost half a million in cume. If they can extend their TSL, and continue to make inroads into KISS's cume advantage, I think that station at least has a legitimate chance to survive.
And as for "burning up the airwaves" look at who's in their ratings neighborhood- they're only a few places behind ESPN and The Fan. They're about to beat their sister station who's been doing talk for years. They're less than half a point behind WRR, who's been classical for decades. And they're outright BEATING KKDA-AM, and outcuming KRLD-AM.
If they're not burning up the airwaves, than arguably neither are a ton of other stations. But I'll tell you this- I've got a couple teenagers in my house who LOVE LOVE LOVE having an alternative to KISS. It's goingto be interesting to see real competition in teh CHR world...

I can tell that won't happen. Isn't this station owned by CBS?
