Yes the AX did fall in Columbia. George Kearns, Tim Daily, Chris Logan and Doug Enlow are out...there are more to come I'm afraid.

I also listened to B-106.7 and Brent Johnson was solo and reading the news and traffic reports. The Ace and TJ show (on WNOK) is horrible. I tried to listen to them and they sound like they are out of the age group for top 40 radio. I agree that big radio companies have ruined radio. I did the smart thing and left radio in 2000 when the automation starting to take over. My take is until the advertising dollars from business and the private equity firms stop giving money to the big radio companies we can all listen to our I-Pods and enjoy.

I also see that Magic 98.5 is finally playing 80s music. That's a recent change, no?
Magic's not a terrible classic hits station, musically, at all - they sound typical for the format in 2011. They really have thrown the 60s under the bus, though. It sounds like other Cumulus classic hits stations now. They leaned really old for the format, before.GordonSims said:WOMG's music has now been "re-focused"to the point that you're more likely to hear Journey than the Beatles. So, that puts them in competition with their own Sister, B-106. WOMG is now playing much of the same music on B-106 and Steve.
That was kind of my point earlier. Don't you think B-106 will make some changes to move away from WOMG and Steve?
