BTW-who is the PD of KLOS these days? Is it that guy who replaced Rita Wilde couple of years ago?
flyonthewall said:Right, that was the assumption since people on this board went a little crazy on me when I jokingly started the thread that KLOS should flip to PANDORA. Do you think the new owner will Flip from Classic Rock?
If there's one company that might make Citadel look good, difficult by any standard, it would be Cumulus. Ugly.Buckethead said:It's not just Cumulus. That's how they all do it. It's ugly.

"WWJD?"
That the question on everybody's mind, but one thing for sure is that:
ONLY JAN KNOWS FOR SURE WHAT WILL JAN DO.

And could it be the thing to make many LA folks happy with radio again since people love to reminisce about the 'good ol' days' of music and radio? I think the Journeys in Atlanta is very well done musically, but the only problem is that the translator signal it's using as a regular radio station signal is too small to compete with WSB-Atlanta. Hopefully Journey Atl. will get to use a stronger signal after all the signal shift flips are done and things begin to "settle into place" signal-wise.
Maybe, Cumulus could launch one of their adult leaning top 40 stations in LA and compete with KBIG! I mean... LA probably doesn't need another rhythmic station! I heard Cumulus also does urban formats, too.....
