Cumulus requests KLIF-FM

They might be chasing after PLATINUM 96.7. It's kind of like KLIF1190, all grown up.

Listened to the jazz portion of the "wheel of formats" going home yesterday. Awesome. I really miss having a local FM station that I could chill out to. It's also good make-out music but you guys don't want to hear about that. ;-)
I am guessing KLIF-FM with emphasis on "legendary" artists from 80s and 90s and the Oughts. No rap. No country.

Here's is something I thought about a few months ago: What if Salem and Cumulus swapped 100.7 and 570. A station with a bad signal for a station on a bad band. About equal value? That swap would likely be beneficial to both parties.

100.7 KLIF

Well I have to say this, 93.3 was the only Quasi-Urban AC I could get on my portable radio in my car. I had my car radio stolen about 3 years ago I have yet to replace it.

Oldies. Charlie Van Dyke drops, new Jingles sounding like the old jingles. Expect "Mighty 93" a few voice drops from the past. mid 60's early 80's music. problem: Area coverage, but face it something's got to work on that freq.

sadly this will probably turn out to be another "Goat-Ropin'" station, this time an OLD Goat Roping station, just what DFW needs, and one without any people!

well nuts another CHR All Auto Tone Hits from mediocre artists. Back to the ipod.

Isn't Charlie still the image voice for CBS-owned KLUV?

Yes

Wonder if the Hispanics of Haltom City will ever get their voice? Marcos Rodriguez was awarded the 93.3 spot by claiming that they had
no locally owned radio voice on FM...since Rodriguez flipped 94.1 to Christian contemporary...

KLIF-FM ... who cares?

Those call letters mean nothing to the people who will listen to 93.3 whether it's 570 KLIF or the old "Mighty 1190".

Why isnt 93.3 KLIF-FM yet? seems like they are still using KDBN

Legal ID at 8:05PM was "KLIF-FM Haltom City/Dallas/Fort Worth"
