Daft Punk - Get Lucky

Wow, what an incredible song! At first I thought I was listening to a late 1970s song, that's how great it is! Great mix of disco, and a funky beat that 2013 music rarely gives us! CKZZ and CFBT in Vancouver have added it, and I think I heard it once on KBKS. #14 on the Hot 100 right now.

Great song. KTFM in SA and Radio H20 in Dallas are also spinning it.

Go Spurs!!

I heard it in Nashville on The River 107.5. When they teased Daft Punk I thought "huh?, Daft Punk was an Alternative/Electronic band 10-15 years ago". I was surprised - I liked it.

So I'm guessing you all love "treasure" by Bruno Mars and "blurred lines" by Robin Thicke ft TI & Pharrell as well.

I'm familiar with Bruno Mars but I'm not familiar with either of those songs.

"Blurred Lines" is getting a lot of play on KAMP- Carson Daly has been talking it up in the mornings the past few weeks, and I see that Robin Thicke, TI and Pharrell are scheduled to perform it live on "the Voice" tonight. Pharrell is the producer of the moment, it seems.

I heard the Daft Punk song on WXPN. I knew the bands name but not familiar with their music. I can't imagine my local chr's, Hot 99.5 or Z104.3 playing Daft Punk. Although they both should.

My favorite chr is 93.7 WSTW from Wilmington, DE. But at 70 miles is a tough catch.

I dig that Bruno Mars song. I can totally see the crowd getting up to dance to that at local bars.

Nile Rogers' influence is all over it..."Get Lucky" is definitely 21st century disco. And it is excellent.

I guess I'm in the minority. Not a fan of the Daft Punk single.

Same here - the people who like it are bragging that it sounds like disco ;D

And what's wrong with disco?
There was a disco backlash in the 70's for a reason.

Yeah rock fans who were still relevant back then didn't like it. Especially when their heroes Rod Stewart, David Bowie and especially Led Zepplin started using it. Doesn't mean it wasn't any good it's just the natural cycle of music.

Rock fans are still relevant, man - CHR isn't the only format out there - notice, for example, that Hot AC is leading the market in L. A., and nearly leading the market in Chicago

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you like this song - but trust me, there are going to be plenty of people that dislike it

Wow!. These have a late 70s feel to them. I would buy a compilation containing them. I actually prefer the Robin Thicke track a little more, though.
