Don't know what 1160s night pattern is since it is new.
If it is east-west, for example, that is why north Dallas and the north suburbs have trouble hearing them.
1190 is east/west primarily -- the old KLIF pattern from the '60s. But the growth of the city has been to the north. So the signal fades quickly only 15 to 20 miles north of Dallas.
Also, I haven't checked how many stations are on that frequency. Interference is a big factor in Dxing of course
