Dallas Pirate on 95.7

"Channels"??? You're on all "channels"??? Ummm, ham radio ain't CB. We don't have "channels"Lets see here: So far, the callsign you're claiming to own is not currently issued - so IF you use that on all "channels" - *that* is illegal. Second, nobody I've found at the RWK has any clue who you are.Third... if you walk like a duck, and quack like a duck... maybe its *you* who lives in that house!!! Can anyone else confirm/deny that the station is/isnt on the air? It's hard to hear from up here in Ohio.

their antenna looks like the same Ramsey that we used for Cain FM up in Arkansas! ;) Gosh I miss those days. Chik, I'm actually moving to Austin in 2-3 weeks.... so much for having you come find me :/ It would have been fun for both of us!I'm kinda suprized that these folks make their antenna so obvious... I bet it was an easy find!

I grew up in that neighborhood just a couple of streets over! Infact, my parents still live there. I don't live in town anymore, but I'll have to do I drive by on my next visit. I am a little jealous of this guy. I spent most of my childhood trying to create my own pyrate station out of one of those Radio Shack science kits...the furthest my station was ever heard was across the street, but that didn't stop me from sellings ads to the neighbors and running 24 hr programming! It looks like this guy is operating on a different scale...I'll let my parents know there is a nut job named Marvin down the road.

I can verify reception up to Plano Parkway - I lose them by 15th street. They are limited more by another 95.7 than by their own power, although low spots are tough for their signal.Their talk shows are some wierd stuff - hard core conspiracy theory - "I'm autonomous of the state" type of stuff that usually ends up with the nuts in jail. It sounds like they have a good quality phone link audio, not much better. Some compression artifacts. It is not surprising to me that the wierdos flaunt broadcast law. What is wierd is that they are still on the air after several days with the FCC so close. Maybe we should call the FCC and demand enforcement! Of course, we could always call 95.7 and suggest they could improve their audio with IBOC (snicker - I wonder who the first IBOC pirate will be)?!I miss the 102.5 classic rock pirate of 3 or 4 years ago. Why can't the new guys format something people really want to hear? Miami must be a delight of niche formats!

Bruce,"ICOC pirate" Now THERE'S a real example of "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, is it still considered a radio station?!?!?" Actually though, the same thing could be said for most ALL of the IBOC streams."Hello...is there anybody OUT there?"

 yes yes lets tattle on 95.7. Since we were all picked on in High School lets run to big brother and tattle! I know several couples that got married without a state license! I know a few people who went down to a creek (on their own property) and cast a fishing line in the water without a state license! Lets go tattle on them too since WE are not capable of understanding freedom and minding our own buisness! I know a few people who have done some electrical work, plumbing work etc on their houses in Dallas WITHOUT a license or inspection. These people must be investigated! Come to think of it I know some people who have LIED on their taxes! A guy down the street from me has an expired inspection sticker on his car for 2 months! WE should tattle on these 95.7 crazy freaks! They actually don't trust the government! They question authority! THIS IS WRONG! These people dont seem to understand that war IS peace, that black is really white and so what that oil co. profits are up 500%.Genetically modified food is really healthy, can't these people stop questioning the government conspiracy theory that 19 arabs hijacked 4 planes and NORAD was ordered to stand down. So what that Bush/Cheney attend Bohemian Grove (in northern California) and dress up in KKK style robes and do mock sacrifices. That is what good christians do! Lets tattle on everyone that does ANYTHING without homeland security approval. Do these shows on 95.7 have any documentation of their wild beliefs? Lets listen and call in their shows and tell them how deceived they are!

It is against the law. Period! It is not the same as the comparisons that you have noted. These are illegal broadcasts that can interfere with legal broadcasters. In Florida, they have actually interfered with communications between airliners and the control tower. I guess thats okay, eh?The light is "red." You see that nobody is coming. Do you run it? When laws are allowed to be broken without enforcement, then we cease to be civalized. We begin to have experience anarchy. A friend of mine who was born in Pakistan told me that he came to this country, because in his country, when you go to the store, you may never come back. Thats because of the lawlessness that exists. Oh, there are laws. Many just aren't enforced. He continued, in America you can pretty much count on hot and cold running water just about everywhere. Most places still carry it in buckets. In my time in speaking with many from other countries, the consensus is pretty much the same. It's much better to be here. Thats why they come here.We still have a great country, in spite of some negative situations which are miniscule when compared with the rest of the world. We are founded as a nation of laws. When you stop following the law, things fall apart. I could go on, but it will change this thread.

This 95.7 is not interfering with any local station signal or any aircraft communications. I am not the "pirate" either. But I did grow up in Dallas and I am excited that this signal is up. I appreciate alternative news and anyone searching, and looking for the truth will find very little in the Controlled Media ( TV, Radio,Newspapers).Too many Americans are concerned with insignificant distractions (Britney Spears, Brad and Angelina, American Idol, ballgames and beer) Most Americans know the ballgame scores, details about celebrities lives etc. and are completely ignorant about huge important issues facing us NOW. I will mention 1 HUGE issue. W. Bush has NEVER vetoed one single bill and is about to sign into law a wholesale, blanket amnesty for all 30 million+ illegal aliens in this country. Even known felons have a back door/loop hole to become legal citizens. Go to the north side of the Rio Grande river and look south. What you will see looks like the start of the Boston Marathon! Please be FAR less concerned about some "pirate" station and more focussed on the treason committed by Bush, Clinton, Cheney, Congress, Supreme Court. THEY are the ultimate law breakers. We the people have failed in OUR oversite of the government because of OUR complacency and ignorance due to controlled media, dead-harlot churches and trying to just pay the bills. WW3 is days or weeks away. So grab your water buckets and thank all your local media for NOT covering the truth about real news. One last challange, try listening to 95.7 for a while before it gets tattled on and possibly removed. Then link on to these web sites for an alternative view/ documented evidence of the corruption that exists. www.infowars.comwww.prisonplanet.co...omwww.JackBlood.comwww.whatreallyhappened.com I wish everyone peace and success and remind you of what Herman Goering said in Germany- "All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."

Dude you better look out, those black helicopters just might come and whisk you away to a hidden government concentration camp somewhere deep in the back woods somewhere.Get a life!

Well, that's basically the same tactic that 95.7 "The Pirate" and all those websites you listed are doing, except they've made our government out to be the one doing the attacking and exposing us to danger. Wake up...

I think Pirate Radio is less of a crime than speeding on the freeway I know alot of you do it. Leave pirate stations alone, do they threaten you in any way no so worry about anything elese. If you hate pirate radio you must support big corpate crap like clear channel & the others. why do the big companies allow the same songs or song to be plaied to death each week dumb, & they do not care about local issues this is the void that pirate radio fills. If you really know how bad commerical radio suck, then give pirate radio a chance before you trash it you just might like it. If you like turing in pirate radio stations your no better than someone doing 80 or 90 on the freeway or running through stops sings & red lights.

The pirate radio station on 95.7 is breaking the law and should stop. If you just ignore this one and let them go, someone else will come along on another frequency.. then another. Soon we would have anarchy on the airwaves and no one would be heard clearly. The licensing process for radio stations was created to avoid this kind of madness. The orderly placement of radio stations in appropriate places on the dial for each area has allowed this industry to grow and prosper over the past 80+ years. It's one extremely rare example of where a government regulation actually did something good. I'm sure the guy running 95.7 disagrees.

So you like big corprate carp you like all bs they are doing every day. Get a life all the big radio companies suck just open your ears you will hear want I am talking about. Big Corprate compines are killing radio & with pirates they will bring radio back to life. If pirates are stoped then radio will be dead in 5 to 10 years even hd & there will only be satellite & internet radio left.

This one time, at band camp...

"Carp"? I didn't know that those big corporations were into fish. Brian, you need to at least spell check these things before posting them. We all make errors, however, you continue make big ones not only in spelling, but also grammar. You know, just like that email you sent me last year telling me you were going to shut my "piehole."You are wrong in your analogy about speeding on the freeway. It is not the same. Period! Brian, if you love radio as much as you claim, set yourself up an Internet radio station. You can do anything you want without somebody trying to shut you down. I've had to explain this to you before. I even explained it to you when I replied to your threatening email. Unless you have a big wallet and ready to fight the FCC, then you need to give it up. I’ve seen where you have posted about pirate stations being shut down and their equipment taken away. Surely you realize that it’s an expensive hobby. After awhile, the Feds will grow weary of continued attempts to circumvent the law and will see to it that you have a new home, with 1583 acres. Leavenworth!

Go mess with crackheads & people speeding leve the pirates alone I know you break the law every day get a life & worry about anything elese. Pirate stations do not anything wrong, on I scale of 1 to 10 10 being somthing really bad I give pirate radio 1 & I give speeding a 3 or 4. The Fuzzy needs to bust the religious group that aplied for 250 to 500 translator stations back 99 to 01 comeon how could the allow that. Also they should worrie am & fm applications, right now they are 2 years behind on am applications & 3 to 5 years behind of fm applications. If they put of these applications any longer then any stations that trys to apply of a license will never have there application looked @. Worry about am fm applications for any thing guys leave pirates alone for god sake.
