Well, have tried to listen for a few days off and on, after Helen finishes at 3:00 p.m. Is Dan unprepared? Is he not interested ? Does he know a thing about national politics? He has been talking about the Miss USA debacle.

Finally turned him off, put on NPR

I heard him in the car today. The guy seems to really hate senior Citizens. Half the time he's telling them not to call his show........... and today he said that they shouldn't be allowed to Drive! He's really coming off as an A-hole to the older generation.

Thank God I just got Sirius Radio. It's such a breath of fresh air! Unfortunately I've only got it in the house at the moment. That will change Very Soon when I put a receiver in the Car.

I understand your point Holland. However shouldn't the same thing go for Dan? He should be giving people a break. But he's sure not letting up on people just because it's Christmas. He's on a holiday rampage.

And here's a tip if you have a web site with your name in it: Register the-most-common-misspelling dot com. I learned this the hard way. A station manager once told me "Your web site is down." I was sure it wasn't. And, as I looked over her shoulder, I noticed she was typing-in "www.hollandcook.com," which I quickly registered and did what-your-webmaster-calls "a redirect" to www.hollandcooke.com

Several SMART stations -- which are controversial "hot talk" stations, and/or in heated competitive battles -- have also registered wxxxsucks.com, so nobody else could.

I have odd feelings towards Dan Yorke. I like him and dislike him an equal amount. Cut right down the middle. 50/50. Some days I like what I hear. Other days I want to bash him in the face.
