KIFR, your examples are all FICTION. Nobody is REALLY unfaithful there (except in the writers head). The world is full of big talk and bs. Poor examples in this carse.
Mr Skynet said;I love it when somebody throws out an accusation against other people ("amoral"), then tries to soften it with a "no offense meant...just sayin' " Excuse me, but I don't consider myself amoral, nor is Letterman necessarily an amoral person because he committed what is arguably an immoral act.
Why would you say he deserves to be "steamrolled" by a "shyster" hired by his wife? Maybe she loves him, and they have an otherwise excellent relationship, and they decide to stay together and work on it despite his failings. They do have a child. But that would no doubt make you angry because it would upset your sense of moral outrage and need for revenge.
Mr net, with all due respect, You must not have much life experience or be a real diehard Dave fan....
I love your "qualification" of Dave as "not necessarily" amoral. HA! That's the REAL problem with your thinking (and of the thinking of world today) there are no absolutes for you. I have a list of 10 written about 4 thousand years ago.
1.Just because YOU think you are not "amoral" is not the issue. We will all yield to "a higher authority" as the Hebrew National kosher radio ads say.
2. If she stiill loves Dave after this - SHE is as STUPID (no, more stupid) than he. He has PROVEN (to a million viewers) that HE is untrustworthy. If she "forgives" how sincere is that? its only to still be able to burn HIS money.
Moral outrage? Yes sir. Just because you are in the mud with him, doesn't mean I have to be.
"No offense meant" is a true statement for the benefit of the administrator of this place. I really don't care WHAT your opinion is - I was stating MINE. It's MY opinion which often conflicts with theirs- but I really don't care.
I'm the one who will have to ultimately answer for my views; not the administrator, not you, either.
