Some of these boards have been so long on IUV, Nigel, that I had to think for a few moments what my password was.
The malaise is not peculiar just to here in NEPA. Imo tThe ER hubbub began, everywhere, to fill up when Arbitron/Nielsen Audio pulled in their horns and stopped allowing public release of all the 12+ stations. Whatever percentage of conversation that embargo caused to cease depends on your own varying personal mileage. My guess is 1/3rd. And as I said, that ratings part of the discussions, now a boardroom gesture forbidden to the majority of us, has affected other forums.
Plus you're right, lol -- radio * is * that boring. But it isn't just NEPA radio. The largest radio companies in the largest markets are all biting their collective fingernails down to the wrist.
