Debbie Diaz lands at 92.1 in FW

I like the NEW sound of the station! Its what I grew up with and its still old enough for it to be the only station in the DFW market to play the classic hits! Will they ever be able to compete in the DFW area, NO! but they have a GREAT thing going and I'm excited about it.

I'm a young tike but I have really enjoyed the music lately.

Can't pick it up outside of the 820 loop so its a non entity anyway...that's why xm/sirius is the only country game in America...6 digital country channels including bluegrass...with Bill Mack on Willie's place, Hard Core Texas country on Outlaw,,,and channels with country from 50's to current...covering N America in digital stereo...yeehaaaww!

The music is so bad now, there's no point...they went from near the best in the metroplex to close to worst.

Yeah.

For the 6% of the population that actually subscribes to XM/Sirius.

They have 18.5 million subscribers. There's 310 million people in the US. That's a hair over 6 percent. To claim that they're the only game in America is like claiming hockey is America's favorite sport. It ignores obvious evidence and makes you look stupid.

I think we just found out why Mike Crow isn't the PD anymore and why he is gone.

I hate country but what i've read on this site hasn't there been nothing but management changes over there. And doesn't 92.1 own the Ranch. I've heard they go through pds and talent like carter goes through pills. Whatever happened to Heywood? Wasn't he on WBAP at one time?

Crow was actually a hold over from the Gary Moss-George Marti ownership and managed to hang on for a good while. The turnover seems to be about like it has been since Crow has gone, except for Crow, who held the morning show for several years. I hope Debbie can hang on there!
Except for the morning show, the talent turnover on "The Ranch" has always been fast and furious. No offense, but the absence of Heywood hasn't been missed by me. I've been told on different occasions he was a lawyer who fell into the job. He had a terrible radio voice and the humor was thin.

Actually 92.1 Country Legends and 95.9 The Ranch are both owned by LKCM Radio...neither owns the other. And as for Heywood, the Rebel and Heywood Morning Show was replaced with The Justin Frazell Show with Taylor Scott.
